Information on this Show:
Two paintings per artist may be entered, digital entries only.
$35 for up to two entries, payable thru PayPal.
Submitted digital image must be no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, jpeg format only, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, 5 MB maximum file size. Create or log in to your account at www.callforentry.org for complete information and media preparation tutorial.
Dean Mitchell will be the juror for both show acceptance and awards.
Dean L. Mitchell was born 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and reared in Quincy, Florida. He is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio. Mitchell is well known for his figurative works, landscapes and still lifes. In addition to watercolors, he is accomplished in other mediums, including egg temperas, oils, acrylics and pastels.
His art can be found in corporate and museum collections across the country, including: Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri; Mississippi Museum of Art, Jackson, Mississippi; Saint Louis Art Museum, Saint Louis, Missouri; Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City, Missouri; Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City, Missouri; Beach Museum of Art, Manhattan, Kansas; The Autry National Center, Los Angeles; The Arkansas Art Center, Little Rock, Arkansas; Gadsden Art Center Quincy, Florida; Canton Museum of Art, Canton, Ohio and the Library of Congress.

There are no size restrictions or shipping of entries but entries can NOT have been accepted in any other ISAP show. Images can already be sold but you are encouraged to put a price on your work. This work must conform to the concept of being 80% acrylic on any surface. It is understood that the work is subject to the conditions of the show and reproduction will be archived on the ISAP website. No refunds. Pay attention to directions and digital requirements. No work completed in workshops or classes by any instructor PLEASE! Inappropriate subject matter may result in non-acceptance by either ISAP or the juror or both. All results are final.

You may check to see if your work has been accepted into a previous ISAP show on our website at http://www.isap-online.com/wp2/exhibitor-and-awards-administration/. Set the Show ## Entries field to a 25, enter your last name in the search field, and tab. If you get entries from someone else with the same name, search for last name comma space first name (Smith, John) and tab again. Review the titles listed.
"Our Mission is to represent and encourage artists using acrylic media and to promote the use of acrylic by painters worldwide. We encourage cultural and educational programs for the Visual Arts in the use of acrylic paint and support our membership and developing artists by way of lectures, demonstrations, exhibits and awards.
Additionally, our policy is to invite a juror of reputable status and professional qualifications in the acrylic medium to jury our shows. This is an asset to the exhibitor because it can lend credibility and individual professionalism to the artist’s resume and credentials. Besides the publicity this provides the artist, the assessment of the pier contributors to the Show enhances the artist’s potential for his/her future as a professional artist."
