Gallery Talk: Andrew Myers
Tactile Art

Andrew Myers the California-based sculptor uses up to 10,000 screws to create these jaw-dropping portraits. The process is as painstakingly tedious as it looks, with each screw manually placed (at varying lengths) and painted. Andrew doesn’t use computer software to map out his portraits, it’s all by feel, treating each piece like a traditional sculpture. Check out the incredible work at the Lawrence Cantor Gallery booth #422.  Cantor will give a gallery talk at 3 pm.

Returning to the U.S., he then decided to create his own versions of the classic pieces with his unique, lively twist. Collaborating with Pino Signoretto and Lino Tagliapietra, two of Italy’s finest glass maestros. Stop by  Booth # 120, Modern Masters booth.

Boca Magazine: Five Top Galleries Not to Miss at Art Boca, Evan Lurie Gallery

Pablo Dona, Artist, "Fantasies"

" I aim to create a bridge to childhood,  tap into the emotions associated with the simple things in life,  those that when seeing through the eyes of a  child become magical. I invite you to a journey where sharks swim in teacups,  boats navigate across a alphabet soup and polar bears live in north pole made of marshmallow. A journey where everything is possible even be that child again. "    Don's miss booth # 202, Evan Lurie Gallery
