Fabien Castanier Gallery at NY Urban Art Fair June 29 - July 3, 2017

Fabien Castanier Gallery is excited to participate in the first New York edition of the Urban Art Fair, taking place June 29 – July 3, 2017. The gallery will exhibit work from Speedy Graphito (FR), Andrew Schoultz (US), and Mark Jenkins (US), Zes (US), JonOne (US/FR), and RERO (FR).
Started in Paris in 2016, the Urban Art Fair is an international showcase of the world's leading urban and contemporary art, featuring new work from today's image-makers as well as historic pieces from the genre's inception. The fair will present 24 international galleries as well as special exhibitions and projects.

The fair will take place in New York's Spring Studios, a 120,000 sqft. interdisciplinary studio located between SoHo and Tribeca, the home for design, fashion and art. The Urban Art Fair will also present an exhibit dedicated to fashion, "Urban Influence", highlighting the various creative interactions between street art and the fashion industry.

'King Kong' by Artist Vito Bonanno

Announcing SaveArtSpace: The Future Is Female - Selected Artists











Thank you to all who submitted work to SaveArtSpace: The Future Is Female Gallery & Public Art Exhibition.

The SaveArtSpace: The Future Is Female Selected Artists are Elise Peterson, Lissa Rivera, Beth Brown, Sara Meadows, Nina Summer, Allie Kelley, Jess Whittam, Fanny Allie, Monica Felix, and Julie Orlick.

Their artwork will be installed on advertising space throughout NYC starting June 26, 2017 and also be on exhibition at The Storefront Project, 70 Orchard St, NY, NY from July 7 - July 16, with an Opening Reception July 7, 6pm.

This exhibition is curated by Alyse Archer-Coite, Marie Tomanova, Sandra Hong, Meryl Meisler, & Brittany Natale.

Call To Artists: '1 Day of Art' Miami Edition June 14-15, 2017

Join us Wednesday, June 14th at 12 noon (t)here magazine announces 1 DAY OF ART MIAMI. Artists of all disciplines will gather in Miami for a one day creative event, 1 DAY OF ART. In this continuing (t)here magazine concept event – photographers, painters, writers and artists of all media will participate in an undisclosed editorial assignment.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 at Noon, participants will gather in one location in the city of Miami where they will randomly draw their assigned subject. Their subsequent content must be executed in 24 hours within the respective city limits. All files and relevant materials are due on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 at Noon, at a location to be determined.

All work produced will provide the content foundation for Issue 18 of (t)here magazine, due for release in the Fall of 2017. Deliverables must also include a brief story for our readers about the art created, in addition to an artist biography.

(t)here is dedicated to creating content that is neither edited nor editorialized by their team. It is a gallery exhibition book that provides a free flow of original artistic content from beginning to end. In addition, (t)here hopes to provide a platform for artists of all backgrounds to come together in one city, rely on the inspirational people, culture, history, architecture, music and art of Miami to execute a body of work.
