Miami-based Sculptor Ian Fichman Creates His Army of Rustic, Steel Figures at the Bakehouse Art Complex

Miami-based sculptor Ian Fichman is known for his highly sought-after metal sculptures. The artist is creating an army of steel, rustic figures at the Bakehouse Art Complex in the Wynwood Arts District.

The local illustrator & sculptor is a talented blacksmith creating expressive metal figures, each with a unique personality and style. Fichman's work definitely makes a statement, his sculptures are powerful "conversation pieces" full of life and energy.

#SaveArtSpace Transforms Advertisements Into Public Art

#SAVEARTSPACE is pleased to present its public art exhibition during Miami Art Week and Art Basel, December 1 - 6, 2015. This Exhibition comprises the work of eight local south Florida artists - Harvey Zipkin, Leah Guzman, Andrew Reid, Amauri Torezan, Troy Simmons, Gianna Veno, John Zoller, and Joel Gaitan - on billboards and bus shelters across Wynwood. Curated by Co-founders Travis Rix and Justin Aversano. This is #SAVEARTSPACE’s second public art exhibition, previously transforming advertising platforms and exhibitioning work of local artists in Brooklyn, NY. Find out more about the artists at

The bassartpass, available to new and renewed Bass museum members at the $250-level, includes free passes for two to 11 of the top satellite art fairs, including SCOPE, NADA, Pulse, and UNTITLED .

New and renewed Bass members at the $1000-level will receive passes for two to Art Basel Miami Beach's Vernissage, Design Miami's Vernissage and the Art Basel Brunch at the Sagamore Hotel, in addition to the satellite fairs.
