ArtServe Call to Artists: Superficial Impressions

ArtServe’s Superficial Impressions exhibition aims to recognize and reward visionary artists using photographic processes and images. In the era of the selfie and the infinite social media scroll, they’re searching for photographs born out of creative passion and sensitivity: the result of a need to express one’s feelings through the image; the creator’s unique view of one’s surrounding reality. The organization seeks to find and promote contemporary works from established and emerging South Florida photographers with a true passion for creativity.

ArtServe strives to be a platform that allows the photographer to communicate with the world and share their vision, to communicate an idea, a message, or an emotion – capturing what the artist sees, not what the camera sees. Deadline: June 13, 2021

Criteria:
Photographers can enter up to 5 images in any variety of artistic styles: Architecture, Creative, Motion, Landscape, Lifestyle, Natural World & Wildlife, Portraiture, Object, Street Photography, and Travel.

All processes, capture techniques, and approaches to image construction are welcomed: film, digital, phone, b/w, color, collage/montage, and alternative processes.
All persons must be the sole copyright owner and creator of the photographs and have the right to enter the photographs in this competition.

This Call for Artists is open to South Florida artists and photographers regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical ability.
