London-based contemporary artist Hendrikka Waage will unveil a vibrant new series of paintings at Red Dot Miami 2025, presented by Artio Gallery in Booth #309 from December 3–7, 2025 during Art Basel Miami Beach Week. Known for her bold color palettes, layered textures, and symbolic visual language, Waage brings to Miami a distinctive artistic voice shaped by a life lived across continents. Art lovers and collectors are invited to the Red Dot Miami VIP Collector’s Opening Night Preview on Wednesday, December 3rd from 6 – 9pm at Mana Wynwood in Miami’s iconic Wynwood Art District.

After two decades of crafting magnificent jewellery, Hendrikka Waage now creates captivating paintings. Presenting a new selection of artworks at Red Dot Miami 2025, showcasing her vibrant exploration of presence, perception, and resilience in an age defined by constant information flow. Born and raised in Reykjavik, Hendrikka’s artistic vision has been shaped by her experiences living across Japan, the United States, Russia, and the UK. Her multicultural background is reflected in the bold color palettes, layered textures, and symbolic motifs that define her work. Among these motifs is the recurring single ear—a distinctive emblem of selective listening, introspection, and the nuanced nature of human attention.
