Colorful, creative, accessible – Superfine Art Fair returns to its Miami roots February 16-19, 2023 with 100+ local and global artists spread across 30,000 square feet at Ice Palace Studios.
Superfine Art Fair returns to its Miami roots February 16-19, 2023 with 100+ local and global artists spread across 30,000 square feet at Ice Palace Studios. Led by entrepreneurs Alex Mitow and James Miille and voted Best Art Fair in Miami in 2017 by Miami New Times, Superfine Art Fair is known as the top art fair for discovering new, emerging artists and high quality work at affordable prices.
For the first time ever, the fair partners exclusively with data-driven experience company, Fever, to provide three levels of access to the four day event. Expect a dose of local color with installations by Karelle Levy and a first time Superfine x KRELwear collab available in the fair’s Design Shop. The fair opens Thursday night with bubbly and cocktails with live performances under the stars in the jungle garden lounge. Friday brings Cafecitos y Cubanos, a locals-in-the-know soirée co-presented by 3:05 Cafecito. Guests will buzz on Miami’s favorite jet fuel poured gratis from 6pm-9pm, while listening to local tunes.
The fair will stay open late on Saturday, February 18th for Superfine After Dark, a more intimate evening for VIP pass holders to connect directly with artists while Mitow himself helms the DJ booth in the outdoor lounge. Then, it’s only a hop across the causeway for a late night mixer event on the roof of the new Esmé Hotel on Española Way. The fair closes Sunday with an educational Art in Conversation panel open to all ticket holders. Monday, after the fair, VIP ticket holders can join the Superfine team and exhibiting artists for a relaxing afternoon beachside BBQ.
Superfine sets itself apart from other art fairs by creating a direct link between buyer and artist, in a professionally curated space that maintains the sense of welcome the dynamic duo behind the event is famous for. “I come from a hospitality background,” quips Mitow. “I see no reason why the process of discovering and owning art shouldn’t reflect that same warm feeling.” In keeping with its democratic ideals, 100% of art sales go directly to the artist and works are available at every price point from $50 to $5000. Many artists also sell affordable prints and merch to encourage collectors at every stage. The fair’s unique approach to making art collecting accessible has been recognized by outlets such as Forbes, the Washington Post, and LA Weekly.
Superfine Miami runs February 16-19, 2023 at Ice Palace Studios (1400 N Miami Ave). Tickets are available online at www.superfine.world/mia-2023-tix. For media and sponsorship inquiries please email info@superfine.world.
