Formations of ultra-luminous swirling stars with their infinite dimension are re-imagined by the artist as she focuses on refracted light and modern forms.   LightWave Waterfall, 2021 Dichroic and fire-polished glass, Swarovski crystals, framed mirror 84 × 132 × 5 in | 213.4 × 335.3 × 12.7 cm The possibility of waterfalls on other planets has inspired her featured work, ‘LightWave Waterfall’. This 11’ W x 7’ H ombre glass assemblage combines fire-polished glass, mirror, Swarovski crystal and glass panels in saturated pastel colors of cosmic watercolor hues. Spectacular tidal waves effortlessly cascade down a glass canvas. Also featured are works from Modell’s Dichroic glass ‘Starburst Collection’. Described by the artist, mesmerizing glass in mirrored and opalescent finishes uniquely defines “art that changes color.” As the viewer’s angle to the glass changes the color shifts.
